That is, it will offer the same medical care and access to the same procedures both for those who have enough resources to pay for them and for those who do not earn enough to be able to do so. In this sense, Dr. Serrano assures that “there are thousands of people in some areas of the country who do not even have the means to go to a hospital, much less to pay for a specialist consultation. With this new clinic we will go look for them with our ambulance, we will treat them as they deserve and we will fulfill the moral duty that we have imposed on ourselves.“ The dream come true of offering universal and free medical care for those who have the least.
